A native Chicagoan now residing in the DC Metro area, Kathy has over 15 years of professional experience in the Information Technology industry working for software start-ups and fortune 500 companies in both the public and private sectors. Her exposure to vertical markets such as Telecommunications, Healthcare and Internet Security offers a wide perspective and an interesting insight on business.

With a BS in Public Relations and a MS in Management, Kathy’s desire to help people connect and communicate more effectively to solve business problems is the foundation of Capture Consulting. Her mix of Marketing Communications, Sales and IT Management experience offers a unique variety of best practice knowledge used to identify successful solutions. She believes through effective communication results-oriented efforts become clear, targeted and successful.

Kathy is an active member and regular conference speaker of the Association of Briefing Program Managers, attends several events as a member of Women in Technology, and volunteers her time to help Women on Course create better online tools to effectively communicate to its membership. In her free time, Kathy is a competitive age group sprint triathlete who enjoys a sunny round of golf when she is not traveling to the beach for some fun. Her mantra: Finding work life balance is key and since life is short, do what you love and love what you do.
