A native Chicagoan now residing in the DC Metro area, Kathy has over 15 years of professional experience in the Information Technology industry working for software start-ups and fortune 500 companies in both the public and private sectors. Her exposure to vertical markets such as Telecommunications, Healthcare and Internet Security offers a wide perspective and an interesting insight on business.

With a BS in Public Relations and a MS in Management, Kathy’s desire to help people connect and communicate more effectively to solve business problems is the foundation of Capture Consulting. Her mix of Marketing Communications, Sales and IT Management experience offers a unique variety of best practice knowledge used to identify successful solutions. She believes through effective communication results-oriented efforts become clear, targeted and successful.

Kathy is an active member and regular conference speaker of the Association of Briefing Program Managers, attends several events as a member of Women in Technology, and volunteers her time to help Women on Course create better online tools to effectively communicate to its membership. In her free time, Kathy is an avid sprint triathlete who enjoys a sunny round of golf near the ocean when she is not traveling somewhere fun with her husband Kyle and son Nathan. Her mantra: Finding work life balance is key and since life is short, play hard or go home.
